Magical Christmas Wedding at Mikelina Venue
Over the past year, I had the pleasure of photographing several weddings across Greece. It was a remarkable year filled with emotions, smiles, and unforgettable stories. One of the highlights was ending the year with the enchanting Christmas wedding of Antonis and Aphrodite at Mikelina Venue.
From the moment I met Antonis and Aphrodite, I knew I was working with two incredibly joyful individuals with a positive outlook and impeccable taste. They decided to step away from tradition and plan their wedding in December, just days before Christmas.
Embracing the Charm of a Winter Wedding
Winter, and especially Christmas weddings, are a rarity in Greece, posing unique challenges for photographers. With limited natural light and the unpredictability of winter weather, these weddings are undeniably atmospheric. The festive season adds a magical touch, making the photos even more special.
Antonis and Aphrodite chose to prepare at the Mikelina Boutique Hotel, part of the same complex as Mikelina Venue. Their wedding ceremony took place at the Church of Agioi Myroforoi in Pallini, a stunning church with distinctive architecture, both inside and out. Despite the rain that accompanied their entrance, it turned into a memorable and charming moment that we will all cherish.
Festive Celebration at Mikelina Venue
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at Mikelina Venue, where LovePunch Events handled the wedding planning, setup, and decorations. Having covered numerous Christmas weddings, I can confidently say this was the most festive and atmospheric setup I’ve ever seen. The venue was beautifully adorned, creating a warm and joyous ambiance.
The reception was filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt moments, lasting several hours and marking the perfect end to an incredible year. Antonis and Aphrodite’s wedding was a testament to their love and happiness, and I wish them a lifetime of joy and togetherness.
